After then, we want to monitori the impact of walking in these shoes on the trajectory of pelvis motion. Methods Objectification method was 3D record of human gait (= kinematic analysis), which was performed using the Qualisys Track Manager. In our thesis we used the method of comparison. "Gentlemen, please, take of your hats": Methods of dating and interpretation of photographies from years 1850–1918 through historical mens fashion
Polách, Radek
„GENTLEMEN, PLEASE, TAKE OFF YOUR HATS“ – Methods of dating and interpretation of photographies from years 1850-1918 through historical mens fashion is compacted material for professional description of historical photographic material from noblemens collection funds based on basic knowledge of mens and partially child fashion, and related clothing accessories. In its entirety it brings a large amount of knowledge from history of the then mens fashion, which was after the downfall of the Austro-Hungarian empire overlooked or presented only in narrowly specialized sections, e.g. in the military section. A large part of this publication is based not only on the knowledge of description of mens clothing, but mainly of headwear. It is this clothing accessory that is pivotal to the observed era, and with a closer look, it can help accurately date and describe people captured on historical photographs. It is primarily meant for the specialized staff of memory institutions of Czech Republic, who deal with these given issues. At the same though, it can allow curators and owners of historical funds a way to describe collections of exhibits that are kept in their collection funds.

Martin Heidegger, Meyer Schapiro, van Goghs's shoes and some problems of interpretation
Zachariáš, Jan ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Lahoda, Vojtěch (referee)
In Heidegger's text Origin of the work of Art is one part, where Heidegger writes about van Gogh's painting Pair of shoes. A lot of art writers and philosophers who consedered Heidegger's essay managed, that Heidegger interpreted this painting as shoes of peasant woman. In my opinion Heidegger only freely speaks about van Gogh's painting. In Heidegger's own words it is questioning of philosopher not strict interpretation. Everything what Heidegger says about van Gogh's painting is deeply conected with whole philosopher's concept of human being, which he itroduced in his masterpiece Being and Time. Van Gogh painted number of shoes, we can find sabots in his early period and lether working or walking shoes from Paris period. Depicting of sabots is conected with van Gogh's liking for counry-life and life of poor peasants in his Holland period. On the other hand in his Paris period one can find four paintings of city wolker's shoes. These paintings are conected with van Gogh's social statut as fleneur - city walker. One of these paintings is the same that Heidegger mentioned in his essay. It is surely "Pair of Shoes" (cat. num. Faille F 255). A lot of scholars, including Jameson, Owens, Derrida have considered this painting. The most probably interpretation seems to be that van Gogh wanted to express...
Consumer protection on the footwear market
Šimková, Jana ; Horová, Olga (advisor) ; Součková, Veronika (referee)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to the consumer protection on the market of shoes. The aim of the thesis is to analyse consumer's knowledge in the field of shoe complaints, to explore their preferences when buying shoes, and find out their experiences with byuing shoes or else making a complaint about shoes. The secondary aim of this thesis is to find out the knowledge and experiences of the sellers on the shoe market. The consumer research was obtained by the method of questionnaire survey and the questionnaires were to the consumers mostly sent by the electronic mail. The seller research was obtained by the method of questionnaire surfy too, and was completed by observing. From the made market research follows, that the most of the consumers have ever made a complaint about shoes and only some of them know their rights, that belong to them from the law. The choice of the shoes is mostly determined by it's comfortableness, and the brand of the shoes is for the consumers choices only a little important. Not all shoe sellers did prove the knowledge, that they, as specialists in the shoe branch, should have had, and the behavior of the consumers, when making a complaint about shoes, showed up to be not always completely correct.
